Does your OS see the dongle as a USB device when you disconnect/connect it?
yeah, actually took the time to extensively verify. I have two of them. One works well, on most occasions. The other is really really the opposite. Have to constantly reset keyboard, or restart the pc because plug/unplug does not solves anything. It may be defective .. dunno. That is why i asked if a factory reset is possible.
Are they both on the same firmware version?

I am also experiencing some weird issues with some of my dongles, as clearly does Tunney. Definitely worth pinning down.
I have to be honest. The Dongles don’t really seem to work.
I have two. Sometimes I can pair them some times I cannot. When paired sometimes they connect (go green) must time they will not.
When they are paired and connections sometimes I can switch to them, some times I cannot.
As much as I had to say it the BT stack and Dongle support don’t really work.
When I connect over BT sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.
Latest firmware, recent MacBook on latest os.
alot seems to come from having more than one device in proximity but I haven’t had time to dig into.
