High-pitched noise when connecting left half of UHK 80 to USB-C for charging

Is there any news on this topic? (I may have overlooked something in other threads and am unnecessarily agonizing over the high-pitched noise).

I plan to announce a recall in a week or two.

I recently received my post-recall board and it is now silent! Thank you very much for fixing this issue!

is there any plan to update the UHK60 that also has a high pitch noise?

The UHK 60 is very quiet compared to the noise the UHK 80 used to exhibit, and I can’t remember a complaint in this respect (maybe one or two complaints years ago), so we don’t plan to update the UHK 60 in this respect.

My UHK 60 does produce a high pitched noise too. I usually don’t hear it since i don’t run the LEDs at 100% brightness but it is definitely noticable, especially if you compare LED on vs off.

I do actually hear sound through my 5.1 speaker setup whenever the UHK 60 is not in sleep mode though. Kinda strange as i have got my speaker system hooked up to a usb soundcard and the soundcard and my UHK 60 are hooked up on different parts of my pc which should be different usb controllers.

I have the same issue with my UHK 60v2. It gets quite annoying if you want to concentrate in a quite place. Even with ANC headphones on.

I’m genuinely surprised by your experience. Any decent noise-cancelling headphone should make the UHK 60’s modest audible noise completely inaudible. I use a Jabra Evolve2 85 headset, and I can’t hear anything.

We don’t plan to update the UHK 60 because we receive so few such complaints, but future UHKs are expected to be completely silent.
