I just got my UHK-80 yesterday, it is on 15.2.0 and has already crashed twice. It will disconnected from USB and switch to one of my bluetooth connections, then when I try switching it back it fails. It might then reconnect and work, but will within seconds have the USB fail again. After that they entire keyboard will freeze. No error messages on the OLED, just whatever last was displayed on it. No key presses will have any reaction, no LED changes. Reseating cable does nothing. I had to flip over and reset the right side using the pinhole. It will then work again.
While typing this out the USB started disconnecting again. Luckily this time it didn’t fully freeze. I’ve now stopped using the type C to type A adapter it came with and have the C plugged directly in the the C port on the back of my computer. I swapped my webcam to using the C to A adapter so I can test if the adapter is causing an issue or not.
This has been pretty disappointing considering I waited 5 months for this keyboard to arrive.

Freeze or crash?

What makes you think it is a usb fail?

How many bluetooth HID devices do you have paired to the UHK that are within the signal reach at the same time?

Is your bluetooth’s host connection “switchover” checkbox disabled? If it is enabled, then the bluetooth devices may be simply trying to steal the connection.

Please create macro called $onInit and place the a set devMode true. That will enable crash logs. When you open Agent after a crash, you should see a yellow bar containing the log.

Furthermore, please see what is going on in right side log: Open the About page, click on the Agent logo seven times, and open the newly appearing advanced settings page in the side menu. From here, you can enable Zephyr logging for the right half.

I guess freeze would be more appropriate for my experience. The lights and screen would remain on and in a frozen state. A hard freeze that was only solved by using the reset pinhole on the back.
I have 1 USB device and 2 bluetooth devices connected. Switchover is disabled for all devices.
No freezes or weird behavior has occurred since I switched to the direct USB C port on my computer as opposed to the C to A adapter that was included. It’s only been 2 days though so this is inconclusive. If the issue ended up being the adapter with my computer then while that’s disappointing, not any dealbreaker and acceptable enough for my use case.
I have now enabled Zepher logging on the right half per your instructions.

I have an update to give now. It has only frozen on me once during normal usage since my last post in here.
It has however frozen at nearly every reboot of my computer. 9/10 reboots, which are just normal triggered reboots from my CachyOS Linux in the KDE UI, my keyboard will be frozen upon the reboot. This makes it difficult to get into my UEFI without another keyboard or choosing to go to UEFI on next reboot from my OS.

Sounds like a usb issue then.

Would you open a github ticket in the GitHub - UltimateHackingKeyboard/firmware: Ultimate Hacking Keyboard firmware repository? That way you and Benedek can discuss amd troubleshoot it directly.
