Extra system keycaps

Hello!
The 80-key keyboard has several extra keys that are often overlooked. Why not create some extra keycaps?

There are already function keys (labeled on the side of the number row). I’d like to have ones with system symbols (brightness, volume, etc.).

I’m a developer, so it would be great to have keycaps with symbols (e.g., IDE, terminal, settings, run command 1, run command 2, etc.). I think I have never used the “Ins” key in 16 years :sweat_smile:, or Print.
Considering the cost of keycaps, a few extra ones—with the same design as the originals—wouldn’t hurt (some competitors offer them).

The UHK is a highly niche product, and offering more keycaps don’t make financial sense for us, but you may be interested in:

  • Yuzu provides dye-sub PBT keycaps of the Cherry and KAM profiles. Their keycaps are not backlight-friendly.
  • FK Custom provides laser-etched keycaps that are backlight-friendly but not as durable as Yuzu’s.
  • Thockfactory offers dye-sub PBT keycaps that can be fully customized using their online configurator. Their keycaps are not backlight-friendly.
