How can I tell what version of UHK60 I have?

Hi, I recently bought a UHK60 used and I really like it so far. I would like to change the case color though, which is apparently only available on the v2… how can I tell which version I have?

If your UHK60 has backlight, it’s most likely a UHK60v2.

If it has colorful backlight or has hot swap feet then it is uhk60v2. If the feet are attached by screws, or has no or monochromatic backlight, then it is v1

Either way, Uhk60v2 case will fit uhk60v1 almost perfect - you will just need to modify the case around the usb port.

I stand corrected, after having double-checked with Laszlo:

i think multiple changes were made, and despite the apparent resemblance, the two shouldn’t be compatible

I still don’t believe that it can be hard to modify to fit, but I can’t guarantee it :person_shrugging:.

From my experience. the UHK60 v2 is different to the latest UHK60 you can buy through the shop right now. I went to the shop > replacement parts sections and ordered additional riser plates for my riser and those were smaller compared to the ones used on my UHK60 v2. Thankfully support solved this for me as this wasn’t mentioned on the shop page at all.
