How to repair touchpad module?

Anyone have this issue?

I accidentally stepped on it and the trackpad pushes through into the module. It still works. I put it back in place but now if I put even a bit of pressure on it the trackpad will push in again.

How was it originally locked in place? Glue?

There’s a small border inside the touchpad case that may have broken, and it no longer holds the sensor board. Feel free to use glue. Silicone glue should work, or possibly power glue.
