Key cluster scrolls during typing

Sometimes when I tap the keys on the key cluster using my thumb, it triggers a scroll event. I can easily reproduce the issue if I intentionally tap the keys hard but it also happens when tapping the keys with normal force during typing.

I own two UHK 60’s and it seems to mostly happen on my newest one and it’s getting a little annoying.

Is it possible to “tighten” the trackball on the key cluster or maybe a configuration that determines how far the trackball has to travel before triggering a scroll event?

See Modules > Keycluster > Axis Locking:

  • check scroll axis lock
  • decrease Axis lock first tick skew.

(Default configuration should already require two events.)
