Linux keyboard settings

EDIT: Never mind, I’ve found the problem. I had the \| key mapped to the ISO key. Mapping it correctly to \ solved everything.

I’m moving to Linux, so I have an install running in dual boot. In Windows 11, the tilde key, below the backspace key, outputs the characters: {‘,~} (normal, then shifted)

In Linux, invariably I have the following characters: {`¬}

Clearly, the tilde character is imprtant in Linux. Could you please advise what the best keyboard layout and language I should set to get the best behavour from the UHK 60 v2?

Thanks.

Uhk is built with assumption of en-US layout running on the host OS.

It is not a requirement and if you need non en-US characters then it is perfectly fine to use it with another mapping, just the keys will still be labeled as on an en-US keyboard in the Agent.
