Probably, but I guess it depends on the method used to select monitors, and if each monitor has a different resolution, etc.. Each OS may handle monitor switching differently as well, so that’s another potential hurdle.
Does your setup allow the cursor to continuously travel from one monitor, to the next via window wrapping or whatever? If so, does it work to set the example macro to travel by the combined pixel amount for the first jump?
I imagine the simplest way would be to have one set of macros for choosing the monitor, and another to set the active monitor’s pointer position.
Unfortunately I don’t know how much more helpful I can be with this particular situation since I don’t have multiple monitors. I’m also a “Windows only” guy, so I can’t really help experiment with Linux.
Thanks for this! I just finished creating the macros for corners and middle of edges. On this PC, I only have one screen, so can’t test the multi screen idea, but now I can give this the mouse replacement a real go and get used to typing on a split and angled board, before testing at work.
What I am glad about with going for the UHK80 is that I have the extra row of - function - keys at the top, which means that I am able to have both the AHK and UHK macro versions of the cursor placements on the same layer and pretty much right next to each other. This will now be a true test!!
That’s how it works on Windows, no? I only have multiple screens on a Windows setup (for now), so I will give this a go.
For me i regretted buying the uhk 60 v2 because you cant use longer spiral cable without keyboard missing inputs and freezing .I wanted to place the 2 halves left and right side of my laptop when i travel but the included spiral cable is too short to do that. I purchased a longer spiral cable but because of the cable length the left half freezes sometimes and also misses a lot of inputs.I dont think it can be fixed because it is a hardware issue.If someone from uhk team can answer this and give a solution to this problem i would be very happy.
Maybe the problem is electromagnetic noise but unfortunately rj9 cables dont have any protection againist it as usb cables.I use the same cable as you and the left half freezes randomly for 2-3 seconds too frequently if i use other cable than the one included with the keyboard.I didn’t find a solution all these years i have the keyboard.
