UHK 60 V2, cannot scroll down using key cluster after update Mac OS, UHK agent, and UHK firmware

I have an UHK 60 v2. I can scroll up, right, and left. But not down. using key cluster
after update Mac OS (Tahoe), UHK agent (8.0.0), and UHK firmware (15.0.1) to the latest ones.

Does anyone have similar problems?

after disassemble the key cluster and cleaning the mini track ball, everything works fine.

It seems the recent macOS update might have changed how certain USB HID events are interpreted. The key cluster scrolling down command may not be mapping correctly after the update. Checking whether the same behavior occurs on another OS (like Windows or Linux) could help narrow down whether it’s a macOS-specific issue.

Why would something like that break only one scrolling direction?

Besides, this has already been solved by cleaning the trackball, so what is your point?

I don’t know the exact reason, to be honest. I suspect there might be a mechanical vulnerability. I couldn’t identify any visible contamination, but I saw posts on this forum complaining about the same issue, and comments suggesting cleaning. I tried it, and it worked – although, strictly speaking, it was fixed just by disassembling it, loosening the screws, and then reassembling it.

As suggested, I transferred it to my Windows machine and tried the firmware update again, but the problem persisted. That led me to suspect a mechanical failure, so I decided to try the disassembly and cleaning steps.
