I know there have been few topics on this, but does anyone have any recent experience and advice on hard (or semi-hard) carrying case for UHK80?
I’m transporting it daily from the office to my home and I’m currently using a soft laptop carry case, but I’d really prefer to be more sure when I have more stuff in the backpack.

It’s worth checking out the offerings of the case manufacturers featured on https://uhk.io/blog/2019/05/01/diy-uhk-carrying-cases, hoping that they have a model that fits the UHK 80.
In an earlier post someone recommended a carrying case on amazon for something musical. I ordered that and use it when I want something more protective. (It’s semi-hard, not totally rigid, but short of something extreme should serve well).
In line with suggestions about laptop cases in earlier threads, and that you’re already using a soft laptop case, you might also look at a more rigid one of those. I have an old Thule clamshell and I sometimes use that since it has a shoulder strap and it works wonderfully well. Both are bulky solutions, but the board isn’t a standard size and shape so the options we have are adapt something, or build/have built something.

There isn’t really anything that fits the UHK80 with the riser. Some stuff sorta fits without the riser but with it….
