This was a hardware issue, I believe.
It still functioned in some respects but the mystery was sovled: an overhead heating pump was dropped on the desk resulting in water everywhere.
I have purchased a replacement. I hated using another keyboard. I was one of the early adopters and I don’t think I’d ever consider another input device. Amazing product and maxium respect to @mlac and @kareltucek for just being ON IT all the time. <3
